- Alignment bar
Galvanized metal sheet profile which acts as a second spacer. As wide as the inner seat of the counterframe and ending at the middle of the chest, facilitates the laying because fixes the box to the stop jamb, preserving its perfect alignment.
Finishing frames around the door. It covers the union of the jamb with the wall on the entire edge of the door.
- Adjustable door stop
Elements that are applied directly on the track to avoid to slam the door either in opening or closing. The door stopper within the counterframe is already mounted and is adjustable according to the requirements, thanks to the extractable track. The door stopper in closing but instead fixed after the assembly of the door.

Set of metallic components that allow opening and closing of a door.
Metal chest inside the wall into which the door is eclipsed.
Drywall is a building material. It is currently one of the most widely used lightweight construction materials because of its speed of application and its special thermal and acoustic qualities. It is sold in 4ft x 8ft panels although you can find it in different sizes. The thickness used for the finished wall measurements with a 5/8" or 1/2" unique plate.

It is a universal accessory that allows you to get a double-leaf counterframe using two of them for a single leaf.
- Double door coordination
Accessory for interior that allows the opening and the simultaneous closing of two doors.
- Door jamb
Vertical element of the counterframe placed in the mouth of the container where the door goes to disappear. It is potentially the weakest element of the counterframe, which could leave the cracks because it identifies the farest point from the walls constraints.
Counterframe which includes the installation of two door panels.
- External wall kit
The external wall sliding kit is the solution that allows to apply a sliding door maintaining the door in view and without affecting any existing wall.
- Electrical boxes (junction boxes)
Plastic housing in which there is a distribution point (branch) of / secondary / primary line(s) in which a change of direction is obtained through switches, sockets, thermostats, sockets for telephone, etc.
- Extreme envelope
This is the hole that you have to leave to place a counterframe properly (measurements in height and width). It is given by the sum of the passage of light measures, dimensions of the inner casing to the wall and dimensions.
- Fused glass
Cutting and shaping of glass tiles, composed on a supporting glass base, machining is possible thanks to a cooking cycle that allows the weave to melt at the base.
- Finished wall
Final thickness of the wall that accommodates a counterframe.
- Galvanised net
Network with furrowed and etched wire to improve adhesion of the plaster.
- Horizontal reinforcing bars
Supports of a counterframe (plaster version) that are attached to the plaster door net which gives the counterframe higher strength and stiffness and counteract the tensions generated by the plaster maturation. They are designed in such a way that gaps of thickness do not remain in the plaster distribution.
- Infill sheet (ashlared)
Sheet with ashlar processing which increases rigidity and strength of the counterframe.
- Internal pocket
Sliding seat of the door. To allow the sliding, the thickness of the door must be less than the sliding seat of 1/2".
Wooden frame of the door finish. It covers the edges of the counterframes, the upper crosspiece and the stop jamb.
- Lacquered (wooden doors)
Boards generally in MDF (wooden pulp better than chipboard) processed to make them smooth to the touch and then painted with a glossy or matt lacquer.
- Laminate (wooden doors)
Coating created with a molded plastic foil recalling the wood in appearance. The underlying structure is usually made of chipboard.
- Motorised unit
Accessory for interiors and exteriors that allows the automatic opening and closing of the door.
- Max door weight
Maximum weight bearable by the sliding carriages. For ECLISSE, The standard load capacity is 220 lbs, on request reaches up to 330 lbs (interior solutions). In the case of blinds or railings, it is 330 lbs.
Particular processing to be carried out on a wooden door panel.
Type of support for all glass door. It is a fixing system that is applied directly on the glass. Suitable for door panels in glass, weight up to 220 lbs, thickness 3/8".
Wood material made with synthetic resins and with thin veneers.
- Overboarding plaster-holding mesh
Tightly knit knurled net (2"x1") situated halfway between the plate and the wire of the plaster that allows the plaster to cling better. The plaster-holding mesh Eclisse is overboarding to avoid the application of additional nets.
- Opening direction
Direction that identifies from which side the door is concealed in the wall (right or left).
Non-standard measures of counterframes.
It is one layer of protective coating of the walls. It, besides the protective function, assumes sometimes an aesthetic function.
- Polystyrene joint
Component on the upper crosspiece of the subframe for plaster which helps to absorb possible structural movements.
- Protruding close (plaster mesh)
That comes out and exceeds the boundary of the chest of the plaster counterframe. Thus it avoids the formation of cracks and splittings due to the connection between two completely different materials (sheet and perforated).
- Rallenty Soft
Accessory for interiors. It allows the door to slow down the travel of the door panel in closing until it closes again softly.
The counterframe studied for extra-large apertures which allows the insertion of a concealed sliding system even in the presence of a light passage which can reach up to 72" in width and 120" in height.
- Stud wall installation kit
Unassembled version of a counterframe. Allows the optimization of loads thanks to limited dimensions corresponding to 5-1/2" x 91" x 4-3/8". It also allows the choice of the thickness in the construction site to use based on the door chosen.
Mechanical process with which the most superficial part of a material erodes through abrasion caused by an air jet of sand and which allows the incision of images on glass.
- Slide runners
Elements that allow the door panel to slide inside the track. The sliding carriages with ball bearings ensure lasting, smooth and silent sliding. They may have capacity of 220 lbs or 330 lbs.
- Standard sizes
Size (width and height) specified in the catalogue.
Sheet metal profile which serves to maintain properly spaced horizontal door jamb.
- Stop jamb
Vertical element of the counterframe that facilitates the implementation of the jambs.
- Self-centring door guide
plastic element which serves to slide the door perpendicularly to the track. The door guide slides on the milling that is standard on the retractable sliding doors. It is applied directly to the counterframe and without drilling the floor, allowing you to center the guide in a few moments, avoiding unnecessary loss of time in the measurements and in the floor perforations.
- Snap-together assembly
Ability to mount the subframe directly on site with the desired thickness (3-1/2" and 5-1/2" finished wall thickness).
- Secutity profile
Extruded aluminum profile to apply in the milling of the sliding doors. Preserves the sliding seat from possible swelling caused by the absorption of moisture.
- Satin finish
Silky final appearance of the finish that retracts the door within the category of semi-opaque.
- Self-centring guide
Closing system which for its characteristics allows the centering of the lock block with the abutment of the lock.
- Toughened glass/tempered glass
Glass subjected to a machining process said quenching, which involves heating the material at 932-1292 °F and the subsequent rapid cooling. It confers a greater resistance in the sheet. In the event of impact the glass shatters into tiny pieces.
Wood variety. It can be veneered or solid (massive).
ECLISSE counterframe model which houses in its interior two door panels that slide with a telescopic movement. It is the ideal solution for large passages of light even when the space of clutter is reduced.
See Toughened glass/tempered glass.
- Top horizontal bar
Top horizontal fixed element of the counterframe in which the track (extractable) is engaged.
- Track (fully extractable)
Seat on which the carriages run allowing the movement of the door. The ability to extract the binary allows you to replace all wearing parts (binary, accessories, door stopper, etc.) and the application of accessories at a later date.
